POOL SAFETY ENQUIRIES

Know the difference.
Ask the right questions.

Everyday pool care and formal safety certification serve different purposes. Start by identifying what your property needs.

Pool care and pool safety inspections

Routine cleaning, water testing and equipment checks help you care for the pool. They do not replace a formal pool safety inspection or establish that a barrier complies with Queensland requirements.

Certificates require a licensed inspector

A pool safety certificate is issued by a licensed pool safety inspector. The right process can depend on the property and whether it is being sold, leased or newly constructed. Check current QBCC inspection and certification guidance and ask who will undertake the inspection.

Inspections and certification are arranged separately from routine pool care. Before booking, confirm the licensed inspector, inspection scope and availability for your property.

A useful starting point

When you enquire, include the suburb and whether your question relates to an existing pool, a sale or lease, or a new installation. We’ll help identify the next step. Keep gate codes and private documents out of your initial enquiry.
